10 Copper Tooling Forms
I retired from teaching art, and now I have all this stuff that I will never use...so it's Ebay Time!
I have a terrific assortment of these forms that are intended for copper tooling. Since I was in the public school system, I had to buy them myself, and we couldn't afford copper, so I used them with heavy duty aluminum foil. Ohmygod...it works great! It's a terrific craft to do on a rainy afternoon in the regular classroom, because it is super simple, it keeps the kids busy, and they lovelovelove it! You cover the form on the front with foil, and wrap about an inch around the sides, and then have the kids rub the front with a paper towel...like magic, the image appears! To make it appear antique, especially for the older kids, and make the details pop, you use a permanent marker and apply the ink a little at a time, and IMMEDIATELY rub it off with the same paper towel, and voila...you have art! It's great!
Okay, now I did all that to sell these. These are all used, but they can last forever. There are some black marks on some of them, but it is just ink, and they don't effect the finished product. Check out these in a craft catalog, and you will see that these can cost quite a bit for a good collection. I picked them up over the years, and now have quite a few. The lots are different, because I didn't have multiples of all of them, so I am sorting them into different groups.
